First Friday Talks: Vanessa Gould: Between the Folds9:30pm to 11pmJoin BAM for an exclusive screening of the film Between the Folds followed by a discussion with filmmaker Vanessa Gould. After the 50 minute screening, Gould will talk about what it was like to make the film, the experience of working with artists behind-the-scenes, and a variety of other topics related to independent filmmaking. Between the Folds chronicles the stories of fine artists and intrepid theoretical scientists who have abandoned careers and scoffed at hard-earned graduate degrees all to forge unconventional lives as modern-day paper-folders.
